The Patton family decided on Provo Canyon family photos this year, and oh my gosh, I couldn’t love them more! They won a gift certificate from a BYU MBA marathon, and I’m so glad they did! Jordan just graduated and their family is moving to Texas this summer. I seriously wish I was going with them! (Wait. Did you know my family and I lived in Texas for a couple years? I have 3 tiny babies and had so much fun. If you are ever headed to TX, let me know so I can come with you!)
I had never (formally) met them before, and I had never been to this location, so the whole thing was so new to me, but it turned out to be one of my favorite photoshoots of all time! Aaaannnnddd to top it all off, they are expecting a new tiny baby! (Update: Amy has her own photography business in Texas. I’m going to link her page right here so you can check out her Instagram. She does a wonderful job with newborn photography!)
So this amazing location was Scouted by Brittany Nikole Photo, and I am sooo happy she shared it! The meadow is the perfect place for easy-access Provo Canyon family photos. Every time I shoot here, the photos turn out amazing. The sun sets behind the mountain perfectly, the grassy field looks gorgeous no matter the season, there is so much space to run, and there are hardly any people there. The drive to this field (I should really give it a name, huh?) is so simple. It’s at the far side of Provo Canyon, so you get to take in the mountains on your way there. Utah is amazing, isn’t it?!
